  Armenian athletes set for competition in Norway September 25, 2025 - 19:01 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Weightlifting Federation has published the competition schedule for Armenian athletes at the upcoming World Weightlifting Championships, to be held October 2–11 in Førde, Norway. The Armenian lifters’ events are scheduled as follows: October 3, 21:30 — Garnik Cholakyan, 60 kg October 5, 21:30 — Gor Sahakyan, 71 kg October 7, 19:00 — Suren Grigoryan, 88 kg October 8, 19:00 — Anna Amroyan, 77 kg (Group B) October 10, 21:30 — Simon Martirosyan and Garik Karapetyan, 110 kg October 11, 18:00 — Varazdat Lalayan, +110 kg   Top stories Armenia’s Narek Manasyan (92kg) won Armenia’s second silver medal at the European Boxing Championships 2024 on April 28.
