Аrmenia, France discuss expanding tech cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - On September 25, Armenia’s First Deputy Minister of High-Tech Industry Gevorg Mantashyan met in Georgia with Hugo Debruaz, head of the economic service of the French Embassy responsible for Armenia and Georgia.

The meeting focused on opportunities to expand Armenian–French cooperation in the high-tech sector.

Discussions also touched upon the recent agreement signed in Paris between Armenia’s High-Tech Ministry and the French company Mistral AI. The sides emphasized the importance of creating artificial intelligence infrastructure in Armenia, promoting AI-based business solutions, and strengthening links with the French private sector.

According to officials, such initiatives aim to boost Armenia’s AI ecosystem by leveraging French expertise and potential investments.

Other topics included possible involvement of French companies in Armenia’s technology ecosystem, joint engineering projects, and cooperation in cybersecurity.
