Juventus football academy to open in Armenia in 2026

PanARMENIAN.Net - According to the Football Federation of Armenia (FFA), a Juventus football academy is set to open in Armenia in 2026.

The project will bring 20 coaches from Europe and will include both free and paid training groups.

The academy will operate in two locations: Avan district and the Kentron area, next to the Hrazdan Stadium.

Admission to the free groups will be determined exclusively by Italian specialists. Local assistant coaches will also serve as interpreters, as children aged 6–7 may struggle to communicate in English with the foreign coaches.

Officials have inspected the construction of new infrastructure in Avan. On a 2-hectare site, four football pitches are being built, including an indoor field for younger children. The second floor of the building will house a hotel-dormitory for coaches and children arriving from other regions.
