Pashinyan: TRIPP discussed in Armenia-U.S. format![]() September 29, 2025 - 17:34 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, responding to a question about possible EU participation in the Trump Route project, stressed that TRIPP is discussed in an Armenia-U.S. bilateral format, Armenpress reported. “TRIPP is discussed within the Armenia-U.S. framework. Any third party can be involved if Armenia and the U.S. reach an agreement on it,” he said. The Prime Minister added that the EU is a reliable partner for Armenia, and the government is interested in expanding the circle of such trusted partners. “We want more and more reliable partners involved. For accuracy, it should be noted that the discussion is between Armenia and the U.S., and third parties may join only with the consent of both sides,” Pashinyan stated. Earlier at the UN General Assembly, Pashinyan responded to President Ilham Aliyev’s rhetoric, stressing that the phrase “Zangezur corridor” is perceived as a territorial claim against Armenia, contradicting the logic of peacebuilding despite the Washington Declaration. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution. President of the Armenian parliament Alen Simonyan met with the Speaker of the Azerbaijani Milli Majlis Sahiba Gafarova. Partner news |
