According to Tischner, the decision stems from increased taxes and charges at Vienna Airport, prompting the airline to close its base in the Austrian capital, Radar Armenia reported. “As part of a phased process, flights from Vienna will be suspended starting in March. We will later announce alternative destinations,” Tischner stated. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
