Justice Minister visits Artik prison, inspects facility conditions

PanARMENIAN.Net - Justice Minister Srbuhi Galyan visited the Artik penitentiary in Shirak Province as part of her official tour of the region.

During the visit, the minister assessed the facility's conditions, examining prison cells, the library, gym, recreation rooms, and other infrastructure.

She also visited the quarantine building and reviewed the conditions in rooms for both short-term and long-term visits, as well as the children's playroom.

The minister spoke with inmates, listening to their concerns and suggestions.

The Ministry of Justice stated it remains committed to fully implementing reforms in the penitentiary system.
