Pashinyan visits Armenian embassies in Italy, Vatican![]() October 20, 2025 - 11:32 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan visited the Embassy of Armenia in Italy, where he toured the premises accompanied by Ambassador Vladimir Karapetyan and met with the diplomatic staff. Ambassador Karapetyan briefed the Prime Minister on the embassy's activities and ongoing cooperation with the Italian government. Pashinyan also visited the Embassy of Armenia to the Holy See, where he was guided by Ambassador Boris Sahakyan. He inspected the working conditions and familiarized himself with the embassy's operations. Discussions focused on current collaboration between the embassy and the Holy See, as well as prospects for further developing Armenia–Vatican relations. While in Vatican City, Pashinyan attended the canonization ceremony of Archbishop Ignatius Maloyan and six other Blesseds, presided over by Pope Francis. A prayer in Armenian was offered in honor of Archbishop Maloyan during the ceremony. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
