Body of missing Chechen woman found in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The body of 23-year-old Aishat Baymuradova, who had been reported missing since October 17, was discovered in a rented apartments on Demirchyan Street in Yerevan.

According to the Ministry of Internal Affairs (MIA) Police, a citizen called the police operations center on October 19 to report that a woman’s body had been found in the apartment. Police operational teams arrived at the scene and identified the deceased as Baymuradova, who had been listed as missing for two days.

Forensic examinations have been ordered, and the circumstances of the incident are being investigated. A preliminary investigation is underway.

Earlier, police had reported that Aishat Baymuradova was last seen leaving an address on Azatutyan Avenue on October 15 and did not return home. Her disappearance was reported on October 17.
