Georgian minister honors Armenian Genocide victims

PanARMENIAN.Net - Georgian Defense Minister Irakli Chikovani has visited the Tsitsernakaberd Memorial Complex in Yerevan to honor the memory of the victims of the Armenian Genocide, Armenia’s Ministry of Defense reported.

Chikovani laid a wreath at the memorial and placed flowers at the eternal flame commemorating the victims.

A private meeting also took place between Armenian Defense Minister Suren Papikyan and his Georgian counterpart. The two ministers commended the current level of defense cooperation between Armenia and Georgia, shared updates on ongoing military reforms in their respective countries, and reached new agreements.

They also discussed regional security matters.
