Church praises 115 years of service by Armenian Relief Society

PanARMENIAN.Net - On October 23, representatives of the Armenian Relief Society (ARS), an independent women's charitable organization, were received at the Mother See of Holy Etchmiadzin. They were hosted by Archbishop Nathan Hovhannisyan, Director of the External Relations and Protocol Department of the Mother See.

During the meeting, the Archbishop conveyed the paternal blessing and warm wishes of His Holiness the Catholicos of All Armenians to the ARS members.

Congratulating the organization on its 115th anniversary, Archbishop Nathan highly commended its tireless dedication in the fields of social welfare, education, and healthcare, with particular emphasis on the assistance and support provided to displaced Armenians from Artsakh.

Addressing the challenges currently facing Armenia, he called on ARS members to take an active role in efforts to overcome them.

In his closing remarks, Archbishop Nathan encouraged the attendees to maintain strong ties with the Armenian Church and the homeland and to continue their mission for the well-being of the Armenian people.
