Direct Yerevan–Los Angeles flights discussed in U.S.

PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 13, Armenia’s Ambassador to the U.S., Narek Mkrtchyan, met with Bob Letteney, Vice President of major U.S. carrier Delta Air Lines. The primary focus of the meeting was the feasibility of launching direct flights between Yerevan and Los Angeles.

According to the Armenian Embassy in the U.S., discussions covered passenger demand, logistical and technical capacity, and potential areas of cooperation to promote stronger air connectivity between the United States and Armenia.

Ambassador Mkrtchyan emphasized that such direct flights could play a vital role in strengthening ties with the diaspora, boosting tourism, and enhancing economic relations.

Follow-up discussions are expected to continue at a technical and professional level to assess the practical implementation of the project.
