Luxembourg reaffirms support for Armenia’s sovereignty![]() November 22, 2025 - 14:03 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 20, Armenia’s Ambassador to Luxembourg Tigran Balayan met with Claude Wiseler, President of the Luxembourg Chamber of Deputies. Wiseler reaffirmed the full support of Luxembourg’s legislative body for Armenia’s sovereignty and democratic path. Ambassador Balayan presented the August 8 agreements reached in Washington, including the Trump Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) infrastructure initiative and its potential benefits for Armenia. He also highlighted recent progress in Armenia-EU cooperation. Balayan particularly emphasized the Armenian government’s efforts to establish lasting peace in the region, underscoring the significance of the Crossroads of Peace strategy. On August 8, a trilateral meeting at the White House between Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev resulted in a joint declaration. Armenian and Azerbaijani Foreign Ministers Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov also pre-signed a peace and interstate relations agreement in the presence of the three leaders. The foreign ministers of Armenia and Azerbaijan, Ararat Mirzoyan and Jeyhun Bayramov, have arrived in Washington.
