Armenia presents agricultural priorities in EAEU virtual session![]() November 25, 2025 - 18:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 25, Armenia’s Minister of Economy Gevorg Papoyan participated via video link in the sixth meeting of the Eurasian Economic Union’s Agro-Industrial Policy Council held in Minsk, according to the Ministry of Economy. During the session, Papoyan presented the prospects for Armenia’s agro-industrial complex, outlining sectoral priorities and planned programs. Participants discussed potential mechanisms for financing joint cooperation programs within the EAEU, ways to advance economic processes, and the importance of research and digitalization in the sector. It was agreed that the Council’s next meeting will be held in Kazakhstan in 2026. Yerevan has dismissed Turkey’s demand to shut down the Armenian nuclear power plant as “inappropriate”. Armenia will loan 2.9 billion drams to Nagorno Karabakh (Artsakh), according to a draft government decision. The Ministry of Ecology and Natural Resources of Azerbaijan has “strongly condemned” Armenia’s decision.
