Aram I to attend Pope reception in Lebanon

PanARMENIAN.Net - Catholicos Aram I of the Great House of Cilicia will participate in a reception and related events in Lebanon honoring Pope Leo XIV, which mark the 1700th anniversary of the First Council of Nicaea.

The invitation was extended by Archbishop Paolo Borgia, the Papal Nuncio to Lebanon.

According to a post on Aram I’s official Facebook page, “His Holiness will attend the reception held at the Presidential Palace of Lebanon on November 30, in honor of Pope Leo XIV.”

On December 1, Aram I is invited to a lunch with the Pope and will also participate in a gathering of Christian and Muslim religious leaders at Martyrs’ Square in Beirut, where he will deliver a speech.

The visit is dedicated to the 1700th anniversary of the First Ecumenical Council of Nicaea.
