Armenia, NATO discuss ties, future cooperation![]() December 1, 2025 - 17:00 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - On November 27, Armenia’s Deputy Foreign Minister Mnatsakan Safaryan met with a NATO delegation led by Irene Fellin, the Secretary General’s Special Representative for Women, Peace and Security. The discussion focused on the current Armenia-NATO agenda and prospects for deepening cooperation. The sides also reviewed the implementation of UN Security Council Resolution 1325 and Armenia’s third national action plan related to women, peace, and security. Safaryan emphasized the importance of addressing the needs of forcibly displaced women. Both parties reaffirmed their readiness to continue joint efforts to enhance Armenia-NATO relations. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
