UK appoints first resident defense attaché to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Major Thomas Shorland-Ball has been appointed as the United Kingdom’s first resident defence attaché to Armenia, according to the British Embassy in Yerevan.

“This historic step reflects the growing strength of the partnership between the United Kingdom and Armenia and will contribute to further deepening cooperation in the fields of defence and security,” the statement reads.
