Amoyan’s main competitors in the poll are mostly Iranian athletes—Mohammadhadi Saravi (97 kg), Gholamreza Farouhi (82 kg), and Saeid Esmaeili (67 kg)—as well as Uzbekistan’s Ayzhan Khalmakhanov (63 kg). In 2025, Amoyan won both the World and European Championships and triumphed at the prestigious Poland Open tournament held in Warsaw.
