Renowned musician Levon Oganezov dies at 84

PanARMENIAN.Net - Renowned Armenian pianist and composer Levon Oganezov, a celebrated figure of the Soviet era and People's Artist of Russia, died on December 13 at the age of 84. The news was confirmed by his daughter, Maria Shklover.

Oganezov had been battling an oncological illness.

Throughout his distinguished career, he won numerous piano competitions and hosted several popular TV shows on Russian networks. He also appeared in films, including “Trace of Rain” and “The Bedroom Key.”
