President might have appointed new members instead of dissolving the group

PanARMENIAN.Net - "Everything seems all right with the interim parliamentary committee investigating March 1, 2008 incidents," New Times party leader Aram Karapetyan told today a news conference.

By dissolving the fact-finding group and spreading rumors to declare amnesty, authorities aim to put an end to the March 1 case, the speaker is convinced. "Parliamentary committee does not do anything. It just pretends studying documents and video records submitted to the fact-finding group," he stated.

Karapetyan is sure that fact-finding group worked quite actively, and was close to revealing the truth. Instead of dissolving the group, President might have issued decree on replacing one of its members or appointed a new staff, the activist finds.
