Arman Tsarukyan claims ACBJJ title via chokehold

PanARMENIAN.Net - On the night of December 18, during the main event of the ACBJJ 20 tournament in Moscow, UFC lightweight Arman Tsarukyan faced Mehdi Baydulaev, the ACA Grand Prix winner in the bantamweight division.

Tsarukyan won the bout by successfully applying a chokehold, earning the ACBJJ championship belt, according to Auroranews.am.

This marks Tsarukyan’s second recent victory by submission. He last fought in November at UFC Fight Night 265 in Doha, Qatar, where he defeated Dan Hooker with another chokehold in the second round. His professional record now stands at 23 wins and 3 losses.

Baydulaev’s previous fight was in July at ACA 189, where he defeated Marcos Rodriguez via unanimous decision. He now holds a record of 19 wins and 2 losses.
