Armenia, U.S. explore cooperation in winemaking

PanARMENIAN.Net - On December 17, Armenia’s Ambassador to the United States, Narek Mkrtchyan, held a meeting with U.S. Congressman Dan Newhouse, Co-Chair of the Congressional Wine Caucus, to discuss potential avenues for Armenian-American cooperation in grape growing and winemaking, the Armenian Embassy in Washington reported.

During the discussion, the two sides also considered the possibility of organizing a joint event focused on Armenia’s winemaking traditions and current opportunities in the sector.
