Russian President Vladimir Putin delivered opening remarks, emphasizing the importance of enhancing cooperation within the CIS framework. He expressed hope for expanded collaboration across all sectors in the coming year and extended New Year and Christmas greetings to the attendees. The heads of state toured the museum complex accompanied by Hermitage Director Mikhail Piotrovsky. As part of the visit, they also explored the hall dedicated to Armenian culture and art. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
