Dust levels exceed limits in Vanadzor, Gyumri, other cities

PanARMENIAN.Net - Between December 23 and 29, airborne dust concentrations in several Armenian cities exceeded the legally permitted limits, according to the Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center.

In Vanadzor, high dust levels were recorded in the following areas:

  • Near Tsaturyan Street: December 23, and from December 25 to 29;
  • Near Heratsi Street: December 25 and 29;
  • Near Vardanants Street: December 27.

In Alaverdi:

  • On Sayat-Nova Street: December 25, 28, and 29;
  • Near Debed Street: December 23 to 25, and on December 27;
  • Near Gai Street on the Sanahin Plateau: December 25 and 26.

During the same period, elevated dust levels were also observed in:

  • Ararat: December 23, 25, and 27;
  • Gyumri: December 23 and 24.
