TRIPP paper has no secret agreements, says Mirzoyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan stated that the document signed between Armenia and the United States under Trump’s Route for International Peace and Prosperity (TRIPP) initiative contains no provisions that were agreed upon but not disclosed.

"What has been agreed is what is written and published. Nothing beyond that has been agreed upon. There is no clause that has been discussed, agreed upon, but left unpublished," said Mirzoyan, according to Armenpress.

He emphasized that the published document is a significant achievement not only for Armenia but also for regional countries and the United States. However, it is not the final agreement; rather, it lies between the declaration issued on August 8, 2025, in Washington, and the eventual legally binding implementation document.

Mirzoyan added that the document jointly released by the governments of Armenia and the U.S. represents a beneficial and meaningful accord for all parties involved.

"This is an extremely important document. It addresses many sensitive issues for Armenian society. I view it as a major achievement — a highly beneficial document for Armenia, the United States, and our neighbors," he said, according to Panorama.am.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and U.S. Secretary of State Marco Rubio confirmed the Armenia-U.S. cooperation framework under the TRIPP project — Trump’s Route for International Peace and Prosperity — in Washington.

The published TRIPP document outlines the implementation mechanism of the initiative. It does not and is not intended to create legal obligations for either Armenia or the United States.
