Simonyan: working on return of Karabakh leaders

PanARMENIAN.Net - National Assembly Speaker Alen Simonyan has addressed the possible return of representatives of the former political and military leadership of Nagorno-Karabakh, stating that Armenia will continue working with Azerbaijan to find a solution.

“All those individuals who are still there—we have been working on their cases and will continue to do so. However long it takes, we will persist. We are trying to find a solution with Azerbaijan to ensure their return. This is not a subject of debate. There has never been any disagreement on this issue,” Simonyan said during a press briefing, as reported by Auroranews.am.

On January 14, Gevorg Sujyan, Davit Davtyan, Vicken Euljeckjian, and Vagif Khachatryan were handed over by Azerbaijani authorities to Armenian officials at the Hakari Bridge.
