Yerevan city council adopts Charter

PanARMENIAN.Net - The extra meeting of the newly elected Yerevan city council took place today. 47 members of Republican Party and Prosperous Armenia party were present. Representatives of the Armenian National Congress did not appear.



After a short debate, the council adopted its Charter which will come into effect 10 days later. The Charter envisages formation of 4 permanent commissions. The winner parties are expected to form factions.
