Yerevan city council adopts CharterJune 19, 2009 - 00:36 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The extra meeting of the newly elected Yerevan city council took place today. 47 members of Republican Party and Prosperous Armenia party were present. Representatives of the Armenian National Congress did not appear. After a short debate, the council adopted its Charter which will come into effect 10 days later. The Charter envisages formation of 4 permanent commissions. The winner parties are expected to form factions. ![]() ![]() Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
