Аrmenia, India discuss defense, regional security

PanARMENIAN.Net - On February 3, Armenian Deputy Foreign Minister Robert Abisoghomonyan met with a delegation led by General Anil Chauhan, Chief of the Defence Staff of the Republic of India, who arrived in Armenia on an official visit.

The two sides exchanged views on regional and global security and stability.

During the meeting, they also discussed various issues on the bilateral cooperation agenda, highlighting the dynamic and stable development of Armenia–India relations.

The Deputy Foreign Minister presented the main directions of Armenia’s foreign policy, along with the government's efforts to enhance security in the South Caucasus and lay institutional foundations for peace.

As part of his official visit, General Anil Chauhan also visited the Vazgen Sargsyan Military Academy and the National Defense Research University under Armenia’s Ministry of Defense.
