Prosecutor demands seizure of ex-MP’s assets

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Anti-Corruption Court has accepted for review another lawsuit filed by Armenia’s Prosecutor General’s Office, this time demanding the confiscation of property allegedly acquired illegally by former MP and former Consul General of Armenia in St. Petersburg, Rubik Hakobyan.

The Department for the Confiscation of Illegally Acquired Property filed the claim requesting that a number of assets belonging to Hakobyan and another person linked to him be seized in favor of the Republic of Armenia.

The demand includes five pieces of real estate, the right to purchase one more property, and two vehicles.
