RA Deputy PM, Iranian envoy discuss regional issues

PanARMENIAN.Net - Deputy Prime Minister Mher Grigoryan and newly appointed Iranian Ambassador Khalil Shirgholami held a meeting focused on strengthening bilateral relations and addressing regional developments.

The two officials emphasized the significance of the Armenia–Iran Intergovernmental Commission and its effective work in advancing cooperation.

Grigoryan underlined that developing ties with friendly Iran remains a strategic priority for Armenia.

Meanwhile, the U.S. State Department has urged its citizens to leave Iran immediately via Armenia or Turkey due to the potential for abrupt flight disruptions.
