Dust levels exceed safety limits in Yerevan

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Hydrometeorology and Monitoring Center has published air quality data for Yerevan for the period of January 27 to February 2, 2026.

According to the report, the concentration of dust in the air exceeded the legally permissible limit in several areas:

  • In the Kentron district, throughout the entire week,
  • In Arabkir, on January 28, 30, 31, and February 2,
  • In Nor Nork, on February 1.

The dust concentration in the Shengavit district did not surpass the allowable threshold.

The levels of sulfur dioxide and nitrogen dioxide recorded in the air remained within the permissible concentrations.
