Armenian parliamentary elections set for June 7![]() February 7, 2026 - 11:30 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s next regular parliamentary elections have been scheduled for June 7, 2026, by decree of President Vahagn Khachaturyan. The presidential decree states: “In accordance with Article 91(1) and Article 93 of the Constitution, and based on Article 103(2) of the Constitutional Law on the Electoral Code of the Republic of Armenia, the regular election of the National Assembly shall be held on June 7, 2026.” The decree will enter into force the day after its official publication. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
