Lebaredian confirmed that the construction is actively progressing. In this context, both sides emphasized the importance of issuing export licenses for new batches of NVIDIA’s high-performance chips critical to the project’s advancement. They also explored long-term prospects for Armenia’s tech sector, particularly how AI could be integrated into government systems to improve efficiency. Pashinyan stressed that close cooperation between the public and private sectors is essential for success in this domain. During the meeting, Lebaredian presented a proposal to launch an educational program in Armenia focused on technology and AI. Pashinyan welcomed the initiative and affirmed the government’s readiness to support its implementation. Yerevan will host the 2024 edition of the World Congress On Information Technology (WCIT).
