Your salary won’t be 1 dram. I heard on Public TV that you declined to take that. But the next prime minister’s salary will be,” Karapetyan said, as reported by Aysor.am . “It’s time for a strong leader who gives to the country rather than takes and takes from it, along with his small circle.” Pashinyan, during a televised interview, stated that he has not received bonuses for many years. “If I were to serve as prime minister for one dram, and you asked me in an interview where my suit came from, what would I say?” he remarked. When it was suggested that private donations could cover such expenses, Pashinyan responded, “That would be corruption.” Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
