Azeri Serviceman to stand trial in BakuJune 19, 2009 - 21:31 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Military court in Baku has today held the hearing of the serviceman from military unit "N" under Azerbaijani Defense Ministry.The defendant is senior sergeant Anar Alakhverdiev who crossed Armenian border and "disclosed state secret to Armenian authorities." Anar Alakhverdiev was charged with crimes prescribed by Articles 274 (State Betray), 338.1 (Infringement of rules of implementing fighting watch on duty detection and reflection of sudden attack on the Azerbaijani Republic or maintenance of its safety) and 341.1 (abusing authority, excess or inactivity of authority) of Azerbaijani Criminal Code, Day.az reports.
