Pashinyan travels to U.S. for Board of Peace session![]() February 18, 2026 - 11:05 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan has left for the United States to attend the first session of the Board of Peace in Washington on February 19. Earlier, in Davos, on the sidelines of the World Economic Forum and at the invitation of U.S. President Donald Trump, Prime Minister Pashinyan participated as a founding member in the ceremonial signing of the Peace Council charter. During the ceremony, representatives of participating countries signed the charter of the Peace Council in the presence of the U.S. president. Heads of delegations from Armenia, the United States, Argentina, Azerbaijan, Bahrain, Belgium, Bulgaria, Egypt, Hungary, Indonesia, Jordan, Kazakhstan, Kosovo, Morocco, Pakistan, Qatar, Paraguay, Saudi Arabia, Turkey, the United Arab Emirates, Uzbekistan and Israel attended the signing ceremony. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
