PanARMENIAN.Net - France and India are two major democracies, two military powers, and two longstanding friends of Armenia, French Ambassador Extraordinary and Plenipotentiary Olivier Decottignies wrote on X.

He referred to French President Emmanuel Macron’s visit to India, which began on February 17.

“Two great democracies, two military and technological powers, two longstanding friends of Armenia,” the post reads.

During Macron’s visit, talks are scheduled on cooperation in artificial intelligence, as well as on a multibillion-dollar deal involving Dassault Rafale fighter jets.

Armenia is engaged in military-technical cooperation with both France and India.
