Prosecutor to appeal lifting of Sargsyan travel ban

PanARMENIAN.Net - The Prosecutor General’s Office of Armenia will appeal the decision to lift the ban on former President Serzh Sargsyan leaving the country. The information was confirmed by the Prosecutor’s Office, Armenpress reports.

“After receiving the judicial act, the Prosecutor’s Office will file an appeal,” the statement said.

Earlier, it became known that the Anti-Corruption Court had removed the preventive measure imposed on Sargsyan within the framework of the criminal proceedings against him — a ban on leaving the country.
