Armenia posts 7.2% economic growth in 2025

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s economic growth reached 7.2% in 2025, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan announced on his Facebook page.

“Armenia’s economic (GDP) growth in 2025 amounted to 7.2%,” he wrote.

The figure exceeds the previously stated minimum threshold.

In another post, it was noted: “Under the government’s 2021–2026 program, the target for average economic growth was set at 7%. The indicator has been overfulfilled and stands at 7.9%. This is approximately 2.3 times higher than the global average.”

In December, Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan had stated during a government meeting that economic growth in 2025 would be at least 6%.
