Pallone urges accountability for Aliyev’s security staff

PanARMENIAN.Net - Bloodthirsty dictators like Ilham Aliyev have no place on the streets of Washington, U.S. Congressman Frank Pallone wrote on X.

He called for holding Aliyev’s “killer thugs” accountable.

“Bloodthirsty dictators like Aliyev have no place on the streets of Washington. They have no right to send hired killer thugs to attack protesters in our nation’s capital.

I call on the U.S. president and the Department of Justice to ensure that these brutal criminals are not allowed to get away. They must be held accountable immediately,” he wrote.

Earlier, security personnel of Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev reportedly attacked and beat citizens staging a protest against him in Washington.

Footage circulated on social media appears to show security staff striking demonstrators with their hands and pushing one of them to the ground.
