Armenia, EU review cooperation, upcoming visits![]() March 4, 2026 - 11:25 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and European Commission Vice-President and EU High Representative for Foreign Affairs and Security Policy Kaja Kallas highlighted the importance of upcoming events and mutual visits during a phone conversation on March 3, emphasizing active engagement in advancing the Armenia–EU agenda. The sides also discussed the situation in the Middle East, referring to the humanitarian issues currently affecting the region. Mirzoyan presented Armenia’s approaches to advancing the peace agenda, highlighting the public support within Armenia for the idea of firmly establishing peace between Armenia and Azerbaijan. The Armenia–EU summit is scheduled to take place in Yerevan in May 2026. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
