Armenia, Belgium review military cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - During a working visit to Brussels on March 12, Armenia’s Defense Minister Suren Papikyan met with Belgium’s Minister of Defense and Foreign Trade Theo Francken to discuss issues related to Armenia–Belgium cooperation in the defense sector.

During the meeting, the sides highlighted the significant potential for developing cooperation in areas including military education, professional training exercises, military medicine, peacekeeping, humanitarian demining, and other fields.

They agreed to continue efforts aimed at expanding bilateral cooperation in these areas.

The sides also addressed a number of issues related to international security.
