Mother detained over Facebook post about Pashinyan

PanARMENIAN.Net - Late on March 17, the sister of a fallen serviceman from Artsakh was detained over a Facebook post about Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, Artsakh-born lawyer Roman Yeritsyan said on Facebook.

The woman is the mother of five children.

“Late in the evening in Nor Hachn, in the presence of her five children (three of them very young), the sister of a fallen Artsakh serviceman was detained from her home and taken to the Dilijan investigative department. The reason for the detention was a call for violence against Pashinyan posted on Facebook,” Yeritsyan wrote.

Later, Hayastan faction MP Gegham Manukyan said the mother of the minor children had already returned home but had been summoned again for questioning on March 18.

“I spoke with Roman Yeritsyan. The mother of the minor children is already at home, but she has been called again for questioning tomorrow,” he wrote.
