Armenian citizens return from Tbilisi with embassy help![]() March 23, 2026 - 12:43 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - The Armenian Embassy in Georgia assisted in organizing the transfer of 18 Armenian citizens who arrived in Tbilisi on March 18 from Kuwait and Iraq via a Riyadh–Tbilisi flight, ensuring their safe journey to Yerevan, Foreign Ministry spokesperson Ani Badalyan said on Facebook. Ambassador Ashot Smbatyan personally met the Armenian citizens at Tbilisi airport. Free transportation to Yerevan was arranged for them by minibus. The embassy also organized free transport to Yerevan for five students who arrived on a Doha–Tbilisi flight. Grigoryan added that the situation around the world and particularly in the region is very difficult. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire. Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan took to social media to thank his Lithuanian counterpart for the contribution.
