Armenia, Turkey explore student exchange support

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia and Turkey are discussing the possibility of introducing scholarships for each other’s students at universities, Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan said.

He noted that a dynamic and positive dialogue has been established with Turkey, accompanied by practical steps, 1lurer.am reports.

Discussions have taken place regarding the launch of the Gyumri–Kars railway and road.

“There is certain work being carried out on the ground. Work has continued, for example, on reopening the Gyumri–Kars railway—there is a joint working group. This group has held two meetings. They have gone and inspected the infrastructure on this side and on the other side.

Even in the cultural sphere, discussions are now underway, and legal frameworks are being clarified, or we are trying to understand mechanisms—for example, regarding the possibility of jointly restoring Ani or the historic bridge,” he said.
