Grain shipment heads for Armenia via Azerbaijan route

PanARMENIAN.Net - A shipment of 350 tons of grain has been sent to Armenia via the territory of Azerbaijan, continuing established transit trade routes.

The transit cargo, consisting of five railway wagons, will depart from the Balajari station, according to Haqqin.az.

The grain is of Russian origin.

It is noted that grain, fertilizers, and other goods have been regularly transported to Armenia through Azerbaijan in transit.

Earlier reports indicated that grain shipments to Armenia via the same route had been planned.

Previously, the State Customs Committee of Azerbaijan reported that in January–February 2026, Azerbaijan exported goods worth more than $4.2 million to Armenia.
