Armenia economic activity rises 7.4% early 2026

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenia’s economic activity index increased by 7.4% in January–February 2026 compared to the same period in 2025, Economy Minister Gevorg Papoyan said.

According to the minister, growth was recorded across all sectors of the economy.

“We have growth in all directions: industry — 17.2%, construction — 20.5%, foreign trade — 9.3%, services — 7.2%, trade — 3.3%,” Papoyan wrote on his Facebook page.

Earlier, Papoyan had also announced that small-scale farmers and agricultural households would be able to access interest-free loans.
