In a statement, the embassy emphasized that the U.S. visa system is safeguarded by strict screening procedures and that staff treat any instances of fraud with the utmost seriousness. “If you are aware of visa-related fraud, we ask that you submit a report,” the statement said. As a result of floods in Armenia’s northern Lori and Tavush provinces, 17 bridges, including five large ones, have collapsed.
