Mirzoyan, Bayramov discuss regional cooperation

PanARMENIAN.Net - Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan held a phone conversation with Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, Armenia’s Foreign Ministry reported.

Mirzoyan and Bayramov also discussed issues of cooperation on regional and multilateral platforms.

The ministers noted with satisfaction the positive developments in the ongoing normalization process between Armenia and Azerbaijan.

On August 8, at a trilateral meeting held at the White House with Armenian Prime Minister Nikol Pashinyan, U.S. President Donald Trump, and Azerbaijani President Ilham Aliyev, a joint declaration was signed on the outcomes of the Washington meeting.

Armenian Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan and Azerbaijani Foreign Minister Jeyhun Bayramov, in the presence of the leaders of Armenia, Azerbaijan, and the United States, initialed the agreement “On the Establishment of Peace and Interstate Relations between the Republic of Armenia and the Republic of Azerbaijan.”
