Iranian FM expresses gratitude to Armenia

PanARMENIAN.Net - Iranian Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi expressed gratitude to Armenia and the Armenian people in a post written in Armenian on X.

“The support of the Armenian government and people for the Iranian people, regarding the relocation of Iranians and humanitarian assistance, is highly appreciated. The centuries-old bond between Iran and Armenia has once again demonstrated its strength in difficult times, and these brotherly steps will remain in the memory of the Iranian people,” he wrote.

Earlier, Armenia’s Foreign Minister Ararat Mirzoyan announced that the Armenian side had sent humanitarian aid to Iran, mainly consisting of medical supplies.

On February 28, Israel and the U.S. carried out airstrikes on Iran, resulting in the death of Iran’s Supreme Leader Ayatollah Ali Khamenei. Iran retaliated with strikes toward Israel and Persian Gulf countries hosting U.S. military bases.
