  Yerevan prepares to host EPC summit on May 4 April 1, 2026 - 11:11 AMT PanARMENIAN.Net - Yerevan will host the 8th summit of the European Political Community on May 4, 2026, under the slogan “Shaping the future: unity and resilience in Europe,” Armenia’s Foreign Ministry said. The European Union will be represented by European Council President António Costa and European Commission President Ursula von der Leyen. May 4 has been declared a non-working day. The working day has been moved to Saturday, April 18. On May 4–5, 2026, Yerevan will also host the first Armenia–EU summit, focusing on strengthening bilateral relations, particularly in the fields of economy, energy, transport, digital development, and people-to-people contacts. Leaders will also discuss progress toward ensuring peace, security, connectivity, and prosperity in the South Caucasus, as well as current global challenges. The Armenian Defense Ministry has denied Azerbaijan's accusations of violating the ceasefire.
